Delete your Big Coat account
Last updated: 7 September 2026.
This page explains how to delete your Big Coat account and what happens to your data. Big Coat is published by Purple Ohm Ltd.
Delete it yourself, in the app
1. Open Big Coat and sign in. 2. Go to Settings, then Your data. 3. Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no undo and no recovery period.
Or ask us to do it
Email privacy@tiktaktoe.co.uk from the address you use to sign in, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm the request and complete it within one month, as UK/EU GDPR requires.
We ask you to write from your sign-in address because we cannot verify anyone else's claim to your account, and this deletion cannot be reversed.
What is deleted
Everything tied to your account, in one pass:
- your email address and display name
- your saved locations and their coordinates
- your daily routine: the times and labels of your anchors, your timezone and send times
- your trips: destinations, dates, activities, the briefs we wrote and your packing checklists
- your push notification tokens, so notifications and widgets stop
- your cached briefs
- your sign-in codes and every active session
- your subscription record
Delete some of your data without closing your account
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove something:
- A trip and its packing checklist: open the trip in the app and delete it.
- A location or a routine anchor: remove it under Settings.
- Delivery: turn email or push off under Settings, then Delivery, or unsubscribe with one tap from any brief email.
For anything else, email privacy@tiktaktoe.co.uk from your sign-in address and say what you want removed. We will action it within one month, as UK/EU GDPR requires.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing that identifies you. Rate-limiting counters are keyed to an IP address rather than your account and expire within 24 hours.
- Backups. Our database provider keeps a point-in-time backup from which data could technically be restored for up to 30 days. We do not use it to reinstate deleted accounts, and it is overwritten on its normal cycle.
- Payment records held by Apple, Google or our payment processor, where they are required to keep them by law. We do not control those and do not see your card details.
One thing deletion does not do
It does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, and only they can cancel one. Cancel it there first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
